ACN is a multilevel marketing company with over 15 years of experience that is based out of Michigan. The began in 1993 selling long-distance services to the multilevel marketing company Excel. As of today ACN is available in over 20 countries and offers a wide variety of technology to customers such as long-distance and home security, cell phone service, and Internet services. ACN’s business model is that of network marketing, meaning they are multilevel marketing company(MLM) that relies on gaining customers from outside reps that in turn, refer other new representatives to market their products.

ACN Reviews- The Good

While some multilevel marketing companies will continually increase their prices for obscure reasons, ACN is cornered in this aspect due to the fact that the industry they are in, technology, is a highly competitive industry and consumers are well aware of the current pricing structures. Because of this, ACN is forced to offer a true market value for their services. From a standpoint of offering value to consumers, they seem to be right on the mark as they are selling a service at a price that consumers already getting from other providers. This is where their marketing has to come into play to gain customers and sustain their business model, as is the case with any MLM company.

The Marketing Plan

ACN Representatives try contact friends and family in order to ask them to switch their digital and long-distance providers in order to get a commission. It is a standard multilevel marketing corporation and has even hired Donald Trump as an endorsement for the services and credibility. Although multilevel marketing companies are not for everybody, ACN offers legitimate services to the public. Again, their means of marketing is to merely have someone introduce you to their services through a personal recommendation of a friend, family member or colleague.

ACN Reviews- The Bad

ACN has endured much scrutiny for the countries that they have expanded into. In 2002 they were charged with a violation in deceptive marketing as well as being accused having the structure of a legal pyramid. In light of this, Canada has never been very fond of multiple marketing corporations and these charges never panned out. In 2005, charges were also brought against ACN in Australia for the same reason which resulted in the same positive outcome for ACN, this ruling was overturned.

ACN Reviews and Their Compensation Plan

Because there is a set point for how much ACN can charge for the digital long-distance services, it creates a challenge for marketing reps to make an income for themselves, and so they must rely on sheer volume in order to make a lot of money. However, the advantage each representative has the fact that almost every home utilizes long-distance and digital services such as Internet as part of their daily living.

In reading ACN reviews of former representatives, many stated they were unhappy with the compensation structure stating that it was not paying them enough. However, in each multilevel marketing corporation you will see both positive and negative and so it is up to you, the consumer, to decide if ACN is right for you. Remember, if you are not happy with the pricing structure of even the product they offer, there are many alternatives to ACN.

Why do most fail in MLM?

Because most people don’t have the right mindset for success, don’t have enough funds to sustain their online business, or don’t have a system in place where their upline or leader actually does the selling on their behalf in exchange for a percentage of the compensation.
